303 Barnett Blvd
Tallassee, AL 36078

Heritage House Furniture and Design at The Company Store is located in Tallassee’s oldest downtown building.  Built in 1893 by Isaac Pienezza to serve as the Mr. Vernon-Woodbury Mills company store, the building is now owned by Shirley Moncrief and Heritage House is owned and operated by Tony and Alice Stevenson.

Heritage House opened on December 1, 2005, but before that the Stevensons ran the Red Barn for six years.  Heritage House features new furniture, accessories, and a gift shop with a line of local items, including Turner Hats, made in Notasulga, Alabama; Alabama Clay, made from Elmore county soil; handmade birdhouses; and even some Bear Bryant sculptures.

Tony and Alice also offer gifts, antiques, purses, and jewelry, as well as an assortment of books written by Tallassee natives, such as Charles Pollard’s Life Lessons series.

Located at 303 Barnett Boulevard, Heritage House is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
