Lee Ann Mann, who grew up right here in Tallassee, graduated from J. P. Tech in 1982 and, after working for others, opened her first shop, Downtown Barber Shop, in 1991. She and her daughter, Crystal Griffith, own and operate A Little Off the Top. According to Lee Ann, they can fix bad haircuts, highlight your hair or give you a perm. Their other specialties include facials, scissor cuts, and straight razor neck shaves. And if you can’t come to Lee Ann, Lee Ann will come to you. She’ll come to your home and give you the perfect cut! “Emergency haircuts” are also available! Lee Ann and Crystal’s newest specialty is air brush tanning. For the perfect look without exposure to harmful rays, come try it out! Salon hours are Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Saturday they are open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
